DAYTON, OH, June 17, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- CareSource, a leading managed care company, has appointed Mark R. Chilson as executive vice president and general counsel overseeing all legal matters for the CareSource family of health care companies.

Chilson has represented CareSource since its inception in 1989. He was previously a partner with Bricker and Eckler and Young and Alexander. He is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and was also selected as one of Ohio's top lawyers in 2000 by Ohio Lawyers Weekly. In 2010, Ohio Super Lawyers selected him as one of the top 50 attorneys in the Cincinnati area. Chilson is an Ohio Super Lawyer, as well as an Ohio Super Lawyer Corporate Counsel. He is involved with the Dayton and Ohio State Bar Associations, as well as Litigation Counsel of America, American Health Lawyers Association, and Defense Research Institute.
As EVP and General Counsel, Chilson will provide legal advice on a wide range of topics related to health care law.
Chilson is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Dayton School of Law, and a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Wisconsin. He resides in Washington Township, with his wife, Claire, and they have five children.
