VENTNOR, NJ, November 01, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- 18 year old Joe Jerkins is now President and CEO of Infinite One Records. At the same time Jerkins is writing and publishing his own comic book superhero, The Animal. The Animal features the adventures of Dark Eagle. The comic is already drawing buzz from Hollywood and when asked who he saw as the female lead, Jerkins replied, "Hayden Panatierre". Now all of this seems pretty overwhelming for a 18 year old to undertake. Joe Jerkins is special and he's no ordinary 18 year old. The cousin of producer Rodney Jerkins, Joe has been paralyzed from the neck down since a car accident some 9 years ago. That hasn't hampered Jerkins even for one second.
"Never say I can't," Joe says. "Only say I can." His mantra for the past 9 years has been fueled by a strong belief in God and a will that will not give in to any negativity whatsoever. Much of Joe's religious beliefs were instilled in him by his father, Charles Jerkins, who also happens to be the first artist signed to Infinite One records. Jerkins single, "Do it for Christ" has been getting a lot of play on Gospel stations all over the country. Joe Jerkins will continue to run the day to day operations of Infinite One and also write the ultimate comic book, The Animal. His goals are to have the number one Gospel record label in the land and the # 1 comic book, too. Lofty goals for some 18 year olds, not for Joe Jerkins. Not by a long shot.
