WEST ROXBURY, MA, December 15, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Gabrielle Goodman rings in the holiday season with Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops for Holiday Pops Concerts
Jazz and Gospel diva, Gabrielle Goodman performs with Keith Lockhart on the Boston Pops for a 10 show run of the 2010 Holiday Pops performances from December 10th to December 22nd. The soulful diva will be singing some of your favorite Christmas songs like "Do You Hear What I Hear", "Children Go Where I Send Thee" and more. She will also perform a tribute to the US troops with "I'll Be Home For Christmas" and "Bring Them Home".
Gabrielle Goodman, a protege of Roberta Flack, has three jazz CDs to her credit and has worked extensively with everyone in the music industry including Flack, Michael Buble, Chaka Khan, Patti Labelle and many others. Her jazz CDs "Travelin' Light", "Until We Love" and "Angel Eyes" feature her with jazz giants Kevin Eubanks, Gary Bartz, Terri Lyn Carrington, David Bunn, Tony Bunn, Walter Beasley and others. Goodman is also a classically trained singer, a professor of voice at the Berklee College of Music and the author of Vocal Improvisation. Goodman will share her versatility with Pops fans for the Holiday Pops concerts. "Beyond excited" is how she describes her feelings about the appearances with Keith Lockhart and the Pops. Goodman has appeared with the Boston Pops on Gospel Night and is happy to return for the Holiday Pops concerts 2010.
The Holiday Pops upcoming concerts take place at Boston Symphony Hall on December 17th and Dec 20-22.
