VENTNOR, NJ, May 17, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nicole Sjoberg has it all. Blessed with a beautiful five octave voice, acting ability that belies her good looks, perfect figure and that certain "it" factor that has both men and women alike drawn to her many talents.
It's rare in the entertainment business when a beautiful woman can capture the hearts of men while at the same time building a female following that adores her just as much. Welcome to the world of Vision City Entertainment's Nicole Sjoberg. Along with her well rounded business partner and video producer/photographer /music manager and record label owner, Doug Wimmer, Sjoberg is slowly but surely making a name for herself as someone who should be taken seriously by Hollywood and the entire entertainment business.
In a few short weeks fans of Sjoberg will be able to see her on the silver screen opposite Daryl Hannah, Michael Madsen and William Baldwin in the new film, "Garbage". The premise, Sjoberg says is priceless. "Two men who are best friends who drive a garbage truck find an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in some Hollywood trash can and the fun ensues as they become instant celebrities themselves." Sjoberg doesn't want to tell us anymore except to go see it when it opens around the country this summer.
While acting comes naturally to Sjoberg, it's her voice that turns heads as much as her looks. Her newest song and video "Xposed" is getting plenty of attention on you tube (see link below) and the amazing thing about the video is that she doesn't only star in it, she put the video together along with partner Doug Wimmer. Editing and all! Sjoberg's singing talents have been noticed by producers of both American Idol and The Voice, but so far she and Wimmer have avoided the interest and decided to launch her career without the help of the two talent shows. Insiders say it's because Wimmer feels that Sjoberg is a lot better than the people on those shows and doing them would be step backwards.
And backwards is not an option with Vision City Entertainment.
Moving forward at Vision City Entertainment also means creating projects of their own. Doug Wimmer has penned an original screenplay called "9 of Swords" and specifically wrote it with Nicole Sjoberg in mind for the title role of Nithenia, the leader of an underworld clan of...well...we don't really know. We'll have to see the movie when it's made! The script has the "feel" of the Kate Beckinale film series, "UnderWorld". Bottom line is this, If talent, drive, beauty, ingenuity and a partner like Doug Wimmer guiding her career...Nicole Sjoberg is destined to be a star. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when.
Vision City Entertainment prides itself on being a self contained, "One Stop Shop" with Wimmer and Sjoberg running the ship. "Visualize, Command and Execute". The VCE statement isn't something that is used as a punchline or some sort of a selling tool for their company. It is a way of life or inner belief. The two have forever branded the VCE logo on each of their right hand as a constant reminder that some people stand and preach their beliefs to sell themselves with no true conviction but for Wimmer and Sjoberg it is simply putting their money where their mouth is while not being afraid to fight the good fight. "Being edgy is not a game that we play we play it simply who we are and we have no apologies for that..period!" say Wimmer and Sjoberg.
