Marmi Ladies Shoes Grand Re-Opening to Benefit Cancer Support Community

    ST LOUIS, MO, August 26, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marmi, an upscale boutique specializing in fashionable ladies shoes in a wide variety of sizes and widths, celebrates the opening of their new location in the Saint Louis Galleria with proceeds to benefit the Cancer Support Community of Greater St Louis (formerly the Wellness Community).

In August Marmi moved from its former location of 25 years to a space outside the second level entrance of the new Nordstrom. The boutique will celebrate the opening of their new location with a Grand Re-Opening Weekend September 15th through the 17th.

Marmi will offer a 10% discount during the Grand Re-Opening weekend and will donate 10% of the weekend's sales to the Cancer Support Community of Greater St Louis (formerly the Wellness Community).

The Wolff Family, owners of Marmi, bring their unique sense of style, aesthetic and charity to every task they undertake. Three generations of family including William and Elaine Wolff, Gary and Sherry Wolff, and Todd Wolff will kick off the weekend events with an in-store appearance on Thursday September 15th from 6 pm to 8 pm.

"We are so pleased to support the Cancer Support Community with our Grand Re-Opening," said Gary Wolff, who helped found the Wellness Community 18 years ago. "Their cause is one that is very near to our hearts."

Several events are planned for the weekend, and on Friday September 16th Hardeep Melamed, owner and designer of PurseN accessories, will be in store from 5 pm to 7 pm. Hardeep will demonstrate to Marmi clients how easy it can be to incorporate fashion and function with her line of handbag and travel organizers. During the event, clients can enjoy wine and cheese and get a PurseN gift with purchase.

The weekend events will finish with an afternoon of informal modeling from 1 pm to 4 pm on Saturday, September 17th. Volunteers from the Cancer Support Community will showcase the newest looks for fall from Marmi while shoppers enjoy refreshments.

The Grand Re-Opening Weekend will conclude with a raffle drawing featuring a grand prize winner of a $1000 Marmi gift card as well as other merchandise prizes. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $10 on the Cancer Support Community website or at the Marmi store. Raffle proceeds will be donated to the Cancer Support Community of Greater St Louis.
