Miami hosts franchise expo

    /24-7PressRelease/ - DUBLIN, IRELAND, January 24, 2007 - Miami, Florida, is hosting a huge franchise exposition this month, providing the perfect opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs to meet some of the world's most exciting franchise companies and find out more about the popular business model.

Held at the Miami Beach Convention Centre between January 19th and 21st, Franchise Expo South will be attended by more than 140 franchises, all of whom will be on the look out for capable new franchisees.

Around 10,000 visitors are also expected to attend the three-day event, which is being organised by the International Franchise Association (IFA).

As well as company exhibitions there will also be a series of free seminars designed to help potential franchisees choose the right opportunities and guide them in making their business venture a success.

IFA president Matthew Shay said the franchise industry is booming at present and entrepreneurs should make the most of it.

"Increasingly we are seeing franchising embraced as a business model from countries around the world," he told the Miami Herald.
