We at the 4th R Foundation Have the Blueprint to Create a Wise Society and We Need the Full Backing of Our Leaders in the Government and Industry

We at the 4th R Foundation have divided the mind development into four basic stages as follows:

1) Premature mind of a newborn child quantified with a value of negative 2.

2) Immature mind of a teenager quantified with a value of negative 1.

3) Mature mind of an adult quantified with a value of positive 1.

4) Super mature mind of a master quantified with a value of positive 2.

As there are roughly four levels of the mind there are four levels of individuals, groups and countries. Chronologically individuals grow old with their emotional intelligence stuck at -2, -1, +1 or +2. Thus in any given society there are four different classes of people. From -2, -1, +1 to +2.

From the very dawn of history when communities developed into nation states the chief concern of the elders was how to create an ideal society and state. During the time of the golden age of Greece the leading philosophers realized that the chief quality that insures an ideal society was the wisdom of it's citizens. So they started to research what is wisdom and how to create wise human beings on a mass scale. In spite of all their efforts wisdom remained a fuzzy subject and to this day wisdom has defied a definition within the paradigm of science.

So it was decided that as we cannot create wise (+2) human beings then in order to create a descent and safe society it was necessary to manage and control (-2, -1 and +1) human behavior through laws and regulations. Settling on managing was a reluctant choice but there were no options. Now at the 4Th R Foundation we have figured out wisdom. What it is and how it can be taught. The time has come when we must go back to the first choice of our immortals of philosophy. We have to stop managing the behavior of -2, -1 and +1 individuals and start creating +2 human beings across the board on a mass scale. We have to create text books that teach wisdom/emotional intelligence education to all ages of society. From 'wisdom-parenting' to those who are future parents and new parents, and those who have young children. We need to teach wisdom education to teachers who can then take up wisdom teaching from K-12 and beyond. We can retool the brains of those who are older student and adults through wisdom/pure-happiness seminars.

We have to correct this blunder of believing in and running our government laws/policies based on the false belief that the best we can do is manage -2, -1 and +1 individuals. We will have to take up this massive wisdom education project to put society on track to becoming wise. We at the 4TH R Foundation have the blue print to create a wise society but we need the full backing of our leaders in the government and industry.

A Parable:

There once was a city/state called Athens. There were 4 kinds of people in all.

There were -2 individual who were always running into trouble. They were big disasters for themselves, their families, their neighbors and even for their whole country. They were either murderers and/or thugs or so emotionally challenged that they were dependent on their families and the state. The elders were very worried about this section of society. So to protect the rest they built prisons and asylums. But the crime rate still remained the same. And it was almost impossible to manage and control this section of society.

There were -1 individuals who pretended to behave within the laws of the state. But every chance they got they cheated others and the state. Some were caught but most were not. These citizens were also an emotional and economic drain on society. Today all over the world countries are -1 and corruption is an accepted way of life for whole countries.

There were +1 individuals who were law abiding citizens but they were driven by their own 'trophy self images' that made them restless and depressed for more and more trophies. As a result there was much depression, drugs and divorce in this group of people. There was over spending and bankruptcies and irresponsible behavior.

Then there were +2 individuals who were an asset to themselves and all others. They were clearly wise people.

The elders got together to see how they could make the ills of society go away. They realized that the main problem was the bad behavior of the -2 and -1 citizens and to a good extent the +1 individuals. If only they could make every one +2. So they started researching how to create wise human beings on a mass scale. They started to research wisdom. In spite of all their efforts they could not figure out wisdom. But the behavior of their -2, -1 and +1 citizens was dragging the whole country down so they realized that the next best option was to manage and control the behavior of this erring group. Management and control became their only option. They enacted laws and regulations that ensured civil behavior. So the mind level of the citizens was ignored and only their behavior was controlled through carrots and sticks.

To this day in spite of all the research in the mind sciences we still ignore the basic cause of bad behavior. Bad behavior is an effect of the deeper cause of people being -2, -1 and +1. When we control behavior we just control the symptom and the cause keeps festering and acting up again and again. And in spite of all the amendments and new policies nothing changes. Our jails are full, our asylums are full, our depressions are widespread and divorce is rampant. Controlling behavior has not worked because -2, -1 and +1 can never equal +2! The only solution is to change the -2, -1s and +1s into +2s. We can do it. If only our leaders could review the blue print to create a wise society proposed by us.
