LOS ANGELES, CA, September 17, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Art Sims, CEO of 11:24 Design announces an exciting, new colorful one sheet poster his company designed for George Lucas and Lucasfilm for "Red Tails" movie opening January 20, 2012.
Red Tails is the story of the Tuskegee Airmen, the first African-American pilots to fly in a combat squadron during World War II starring Terrence Howard and Cuba Gooding, Jr.
Sims has been creating the most powerful and controversial print ad campaigns for award winning feature films ranging from Spike Lee's Malcolm X, Do The Right Thing, When The Levees Broke, Lottery Ticket, Passing Strange and If God Willing And The Creek Don't Rise.
"It was a honor to design the Red Tails campaign for Lucasfilm. My goal was to make the best poster campaign ever designed for Lucasfilm. Since Red Tails is the epic story about the Tuskegee Airman, I decided to created an action packed image that depicted the dangerous aerial dogfights missions the Tuskegee Airman successfully won every time during World War II. They never lost a battle!"
