SAN SEBASTIAN, SPAIN, September 22, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- From the 16th to the 24th of September San Sebastian will be immersed in cinematographic glamour. Cinema lovers from all around the world will arrive to watch the latest movies and documentaries. One of the highlights this year will be the presence of Glenn Close. The actress will be attending the festival to present her latest film "Albert Nobbs", directed by Rodrigo García. On the 18th of September she will receive the San Sebastian Donostia lifetime award for career achievement.
George Harrison documentary
Another highlight is the European premiere of Living in the Material World, a documentary about the life of the former Beatles guitar player George Harrison. Producer Martin Scorsese has worked five years on this George Harrison documentary. Scorsese has interviewed the remaining former band members of the Beatles: Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney.
Culinary Zinema
If you are visiting San Sebastian during the International Film Festival you can also go to the Culinary Zinema, a special section of the festival in which seven restaurants will show seven movies about seven themes. While your eyes feast on the delicious scenes of wine- or sushi production your mouth can enjoy the flavours of gastronomic delights. On the 18th of September the restaurant of Hotel de Londres will host one of the events.
