Village of Questa at Mountain House Hosts Free Pumpkin Fest Saturday, Oct 22, Welcoming Families, Friends and New Home Shoppers

    MOUNTAIN HOUSE, CA, October 07, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A great time is brewing at Mountain House on Saturday, October 22 so bring the family--and a carved pumpkin to display in the Pumpkin Walk! The Pumpkin Fest is noon to 5:30 p.m., giving you time to sample local arts, crafts and refreshments from more than 20 vendors, as you stroll Questa Park in the village of Questa at Mountain House.

Highlighting this unique harvest festival: a special Kids' Zone at the park, with bounce houses, pony rides, a petting zoo, Doodles the Clown and climbing wall. Also on tap are raffle opportunities, plus autumn cooking demos at the new home models.

Be sure to stay for the Pumpkin Walk, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., which will display illuminated pumpkins, and include announcement of the prize-winning carved pumpkins that festival-goers bring to Questa Park. Local enterprises are adding arts, crafts, specialty foods and more to the inaugural Pumpkin Fest, which will benefit HomeAid Northern California. HomeAid is a non-profit dedicated to providing quality shelter for transitionally homeless individuals and families throughout the East Bay.
