SCOTTSDALE, AZ, February 15, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Digital Dogs, a web design and search engine marketing firm, recently partnered with the Arizona Technology Investor Forum (ATIF) to update the organization's website. The new site, created as part of Digital Dogs' pro bono efforts for the local community, launched this year and provides visitors with a more user-friendly experience.
ATIF, an organization composed of accredited investors who invest in early-stage technology companies, approached Digital Dogs at the end of 2011 about updating the organization's website. Digital Dogs jumped at the opportunity to offer pro bono web design services to the Arizona-based organization. "Being owners of a business, we understand the process young companies can go throw before they become established. As a result, it was important to us to contribute our services to ATIF and help more local technology companies get a strong start, especially in this economy," said Digital Dogs' co-owner Mike Blum.
ATIF's website had an outdated look and feel and was difficult for the organization to keep up-to-date. Though the website's overall design remains similar to its previous one, Digital Dogs made a series of changes that helps the website better serve the needs of ATIF and the website's users. The new website adjusts to fill users' browsers, giving it a more up-to-date feel. In addition, it features a dynamic calendar for easy access to view upcoming entrepreneur and investor events. "While each change to the website was a small one on its own, together, all the changes improve the website's functionality and bring the website in line with current user expectations," said Blum. Apart from updating the appearance of the website, Digital Dogs also improved the site's functionality, making it easier for ATIF to make changes on the backend.
Currently, ATIF has invested over $5,600,000 in 20 technology companies in Arizona, as well as the surrounding states. It regularly partners with local Arizona companies such as Digital Dogs and other organizations, including other angel investor groups, such as Desert Angels, New Mexico Angels and Tech Coast Angels in San Diego.
