LOS ANGELES, CA, February 15, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- You can't make this stuff up. The tragic, untimely death of Whitney Houston has the makings of a script no one could write. On the eve of the 54th Grammy's, Houston was found dead in a Beverly Hills Hotel tub. To add to the "No one could write this script" concept, a song entitled "The First Time You Love," dedicated to Houston has been released exclusively on iTunes, and if you're wondering what part of this is unbelievable, the song was recorded before Houston's death, but the words sound like it was written the night she died.
Jermaine Jackson has the surreal distinction of being brother and friend to Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston respectively, the two biggest entertainers in the world gone too soon. In one verse of the new song Jermaine sings, "The first time you love, the first time you touch, the first time you see your love to be, the first time you feel what was once real is gone." Even his harshest critics are admitting to the moving nature of his vocal performance. Ironically, "The First Time You Love," isn't on a new Jermaine Jackson album, but rather the album of Atlanta-based veteran songwriter Dennis Ross III (Boyz II Men, Vanessa Williams). Ross tells Crusade Media, "We recorded the song and scheduled to release it directly to iTunes obviously before Whitney passed. The message of the song, and the fact she died on the eve of our scheduled release challenges logic on multiple levels. The response we're receiving from listeners is a testament to the honesty of Jermaine's performance. You can plan a lot of things, but you can't plan this." Ross said.
"The First Time You Love" performed by Jermaine Jackson can be downloaded on iTunes from the self-entitled album called "Dennis Ross III."
