BANGKOK, THAILAND, April 21, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Summer Camp, the acclaimed British indie pop duo of Jeremy Warmsley and Elizabeth Sankey, will be giving a live performance in Bangkok this May.
The retro-influenced act will be playing to crowds at the Centerpoint Studio venue on Sukhumvit 105 during the evening of May 12th, with the concert commencing at 19:30 local time and ending at midnight.
Multi-instrumentalist and established solo artist Warmsley first collaborated with vocalist Sankey in 2009, going on to record a single album together called Welcome to Condale.
Produced by Pulp bass player Steve Mackey, the record captures a nostalgic blend of cheerfulness and calm that evokes young love, heartache, college life and teenage passion, often with darker undertones.
Event organiser Supersweet has collaborated with leading Thai fashion house Sretsis to bring the London-based act to Bangkok, describing the duo's music as representing "that missing link where random reality and fantastical dream collide".
The band will be supported by local artists Chladni Chandi, Wisut Ponnimit and Ikuko Harada, from the Japanese musical trio Clammbon.
Tickets to the show can be purchased for 1,200 baht (GBP24.50).
