Taurus Software Introduces Eloquence Support... Giving Eloquence Users Power and Versatility

    /24-7PressRelease/ - REDWOOD CITY, CA, May 04, 2007 - This new solution offers former HP e3000 Turbo Image Users running the Eloquence DBMS the same tool kit provided by Taurus' renowned DataBridger products, notably:

• Simplified data movement between applications and data repositories
• Full synchronization of information across the enterprise
• The ability to build and feed a multitude of data structures
• Seamless data exchange with external company sites, or across the supply chain

For many of the HP Turbo Image installations migrating to open systems, Eloquence was an absolute boon, maintaining their current database architecture and letting them easily migrate legacy COBOL and other coding to the new environment. Thus, in many cases, it saved them from having to re-tool most of their applications and transform their entire IT department.

Despite their newfound power and versatility, one element Eloquence Users said they lost after their migration was third party indexing, which they had used in Turbo Image to power look-ups, searches, data profiling and other critical database functions. Without this, DBAs, Software Engineers and Developers were forced to perform serial data searches which significantly impacted performance.

Using celebrated DataBridger features like the Studio GUI Workbench, Eloquence customers can create a real-time reporting environment in SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2 that can be indexed in any manner and queried without impacting the production Eloquence system. Ultimately, this puts the full ETL power of DataBridger to work for them.
