Covington's Who's Who Selects Lola A. Jones as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

Jones, who is now retired from cosmetology and has thirty years experience in the wig business working with cancer patients, has also been doing wellness marketing for the past eleven years.

As an executive director, Jones educates consumers on choosing everyday household products that are safer for people, as well as the environment. Having operated a salon for thirty years, her ability and determination to develop a successful business is what drives her. While at the same time, she also helps women who have been diagnosed with cancer, educating and consulting with them on different wig styles, hats, and scarves, by providing full-service care in a private salon setting.

"I have a strong passion for helping people to feel good about themselves from the inside out," Jones explained. "Being a cancer survivor myself and having to go through the trials and tribulations both mentally and physically, gave me the power to share hope and encouragement to others by sharing my story."

Helping others reach their goals financially is a passion and sharing her knowledge inspires Jones. She hopes to continue selling wigs to healthy women seeking purely a fashion statement in the hopes that a cure for cancer is soon found.

Having been published in the Baltimore Magazine and in Style for her career endeavors over the years, Jones has also won numerous awards. She earned an Excellence Award from the Professional Association of Women Business Owners, a Woman of the Year Award through The Arlene Rosenberg Wyman Guild, was named one of Maryland's Top 100 Women in Business by Warfield's Business Record, an American Cancer Fundraiser Award, and was also named to Who's Who in the Professional Modern Salon Magazine.
