    VALHALLA, NY, July 26, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kristina Gazivoda, Registered Nurse, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in her field.

As a registered nurse, Ms. Gazivoda supports the nursing staff in delivering patient care; performs and records preoperative, postoperative and intensive care trauma patient assessments; administers medications; documents patient care; encourages and educates patients; implements nursing duties for patients on ventilators and in an intensive-care setting; and works in collaboration with nurses to generate patient-centered care plans. She is following her father's footsteps into health care, as he is a physician.

Ms. Gazivoda earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pace University, where she achieved Latin Honors (Cum Laude). She holds Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications and is a member of the Golden Key Honor Society and Lambda Sigma (Sophomore Honor Society). In recognition of her achievements, she was presented with The Trust Recognition Award. Looking forward to a bright future, she intends to further her education by obtaining a master's degree and doctoral degree.
