DFW Elite Car Club Unveils New Bentley Continental GTC, Aston Martin V8 Vantage and Ferrari F355 Spider at Media and Member Event on August 14

Even normally forthcoming dealers have been stingy. "It's been almost impossible--even for members of the automotive press--to get test drives in the new Bentley Continental GTC or the latest drop top Aston Martin," says Ron Sturgeon, owner of DFW Elite Car Club.

Mr. Sturgeon will loosen his grip and hand the keys over to car club members and qualified members of the media for test drives of the club's new 2007 Bentley Continental GTC, 2007 Aston Martin V-8 Vantage and 1998 Ferrari F355 on August 14. Members and media can enjoy the view from behind the wheel by appointment from 11a.m. to 8 p.m. "We're thrilled to be able to invite media and members to test drive two of this year's legendary luxury cars."

"Bringing the latest Bentley and the newest Aston Martin to a single unveiling is just proof of our commitment to make DFW the best place to belong to a car club."

"The first car to be unveiled at the event will be our new Continental GTC. Of the new Bentley, the writers at European Car Magazine observed, "Bentley has raised the bar so high in the soft-top game that it will take years before any other manufacturer gets to the level now occupied by the GTC."

The new Bentley is Glacier White with a Saffron and Fireglow interior. "It's rare to have a convertible that matches or exceeds the performance of the coupe, but Bentley promises the GTC will."

"We were thrilled when we got the call from Aston Martin of Dallas that our V-8 Vantage Convertible had arrived," said Bailey. "I have to admit that I volunteered to go pick it up, and it's everything that you would expect from a car that I've been itching to drive since I saw photos of it from the 2006 Los Angeles Car Show. DFW Elite Car Club's Aston Martin V-8 Vantage is Toro Red with a Sandstorm and Chancellor Red interior.

"I love working at a Dallas Exotic Car Club that can give second billing to a brand new Aston Martin," joked Bailey. "If you plan on driving the Aston, bring a favorite CD because the new 700 watt premium sound system makes the car a rolling version of Carnegie Hall," insists Bailey. The car also has Aston's new Sportshift gearbox capable of shifting in only 200 milliseconds. Simple fingertip shifting makes it deceptively simple to approach the car's 175 mph top end. Early reviewers report the new gearbox makes this British luxury car far easier to drive in both manual and automatic than previous Aston Martins.

"The last car that we will be unveiling is one that a private collector sold to us, and it's clear that this car was his pride and joy. It is a pristine 1998 Ferrari F355 Spider in Fly Yellow with fewer than 6000 miles.
