E BUNNY BRINGS JOY TO KIDS IN NEED

Easter is the season of hope and renewal. No matter what your religious beliefs are, it's a great time to put a smile on the face of a child who really doesn't have a lot to smile about, and be part of a community effort that makes a real difference.

/24-7PressRelease/ - LAS VEGAS, NV, August 22, 2007 - It really takes a village to pull off the E BUNNY program every year. The private, charitable group has grown in 18 years, from delivering 25 baskets the first year, to nearly 12,000 Easter baskets in 2007.

Baskets go to kids who need them most. Beyond the neon glitz of the Las Vegas Strip, thousands of children exist under impoverished circumstances... many homeless... in temporary housing, under the most depressing conditions.

"We get requests from shelters and social service programs every year," says coordinator and program founder Barbara Kenig. "We specifically look for groups and organizations that aren't sponsored by large charities or outreach programs; we look for those who otherwise wouldn't have Easter baskets for the kids."

Since 1990, E BUNNY has delivered thousands of baskets to children in need with the generosity of retailers, industry, individual contributors (some anonymous) and dedicated volunteers. Merchants, manufacturers and businesses across America (the likes of TY Inc, Costco, Sam's Club, Russ Berrie and Company, Target, Walmart, 99 Cents Only Stores and Veolia Transportation) have helped through the years. Last year, Worldwide Candy Consultants of Las Vegas, and WonderTreats of Modesto California (the largest maker of Easter baskets in the world) donated 300 of those baskets and put E Bunny over the moon!

A very special thank you to www.24-7pressrelease.com for distributing this press release on the internet, and making it available so more people can read about the E BUNNY program.

Organizations and agencies that received baskets last year included: Las Vegas City Mission, Las Vegas Housing Authority, Las Vegas Rescue Mission, Clark County Social Services, Safe House, West Care, Nevada Social Services and Straight From the Streets.

You can make a difference in a child's life by purchasing an Easter basket for Easter 2008, and donating it to the E BUNNY "One Special Basket for One Special Child" program. Easter baskets typically range in price from $7-15 and can be purchased at any drugstore, supermarket, discount or retail store.

Easter is the season of hope and renewal. No matter what your religious beliefs are, it's a great time to put a smile on the face of a child who really doesn't have a lot to smile about, and be part of a community effort that makes a real difference.
