/24-7PressRelease/ - KENNESAW, GA, August 25, 2007 - When Pet Dreams owner and founder, Kevin R. Marcy, was contacted by the Atlanta Journal asking if they could attend a Pet Dreams Open House and conduct short interviews and talk to visitors, he hoped that they might get a little story in an upcoming issue. "Any little bit of publicity would be great", states Mr. Marcy. The AJC reporter spent almost 2 hours at the Pet Dreams Open House, talking too many of the 100 plus visitors, which included local humane society representatives, vet clinic employees, local government dignitaries, family and friends. Several days later an AJC photo editors contacted Mr. Marcy asking if they could send out a photographer to photograph a Pet Dream's family and capture the emotion behind losing a pet. A local family gave the Pet Dream's Staff permission to have their entire arrangement conference and private viewing time to be photographed.
The final story gave an in-depth look at Pet Dream's unique services and how they compare to a traditional funeral home for humans. "It was a wonderful portrayal of the raw emotions that families feel during the grieving process after losing a pet and how the Pet Dreams caring staff walks people through the entire process". "It featured how families can memorialize their pet in a memorable manner, including viewings and funerals", says Marcy
