/24-7PressRelease/ - September 11, 2007 - FOX BROADCASTING is kicking off their month-long celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month this Thursday, Sept 13th, 2007 on their morning show Good Day New York from 7am to 9am.
The event is “Noche Buena in September.” Noche Bueno or "Good Night" is what Hispanics traditionally call Christmas Eve, when family and friends get together for a night of lively celebration and “mucho” eating.
Chef DonClark will show FOX anchor Anne Craig what the Hispanic community has known for generations: HOW VERSATILE, EASY TO USE AND DELICIOUS THE PLANTAIN IS. The Chef is scheduled to prepare: Tostones, Toston Cups, Plantain Sandwiches, Plantain Pitas and a few other Latino favorites: Lechon, Flan and “Coquito.”
And why the plantain? “The toston speaks to the reverence that Latinos/Hispanics have when it comes to their food and their family,” said Chef DonClark. “Put the two together, and it’s a perfect way to honor Hispanic Heritage.”
Come Kick-Off Hispanic Heritage Month with the live broadcast and enjoy the party with REAL Latino food and lots of fun!
