/24-7PressRelease/ - STUDIO CITY, CA, September 21, 2007 - Known as the "Supermarket of Martial Arts Training", Camp Budoshin 2007 will be the sixteenth year the camp has been held in the Los Angeles area. Camp Budoshin has become a highlight of the martial arts calendar - teachers and students attend from all across the United States. The core concept of Camp Budoshin is to bring the greatest living martial arts masters together to share their techniques and philosophies with enthusiasts at all levels of experience.
George Kirby, 10th degree Black Belt in Budoshon style ju-jitsu, and Mark Jordan, 5th degree Black Belt - two of the United States' foremost ju-jitsu experts - will host another spectacular Camp Budoshin gathering on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at Harvard-Westlake School (3700 Coldwater Canyon Ave., Studio City, CA).
Mr. Kirby and Mr. Jordan both have a unique ability to attract top experts in the martial arts world. Indeed, being asked to teach at the seminar is considered to be a great honor. The teachers invited to Camp Budoshin 2007 are a veritable Who's Who in the martial arts community and includes:

Last year's event was well attended, with over a hundred different martial artists from a variety of martial arts styles. Nearly half of them were black belts, but there were also plenty of novices in attendance, there to learn what different martial arts have to offer them. Attendees can look forward to completing up to four hands-on training sessions throughout the day, allowing you to learn a variety of styles and techniques, including throws, take-downs, strikes, locks and weapons techniques.
The most remarkable strength of Camp Budoshin is that the teachers selected have a thorough and abiding understanding of the principles behind their styles. This allows them to effectively and quickly teach not just a technique, but a deeper understanding which students can then apply to other techniques and situations.
As one attendee from last year put it, "This was an amazing day!"... a sentiment echoed by students and teachers alike. No doubt, the instructors of the Budoshin Ju-Jitsu Dojo will once again succeed in putting together another valuable seminar where high level martial arts concepts and techniques are taught, and where camaraderie and respect will be the buzz words of the day.
