/24-7PressRelease/ - BROOKLYN, NY, October 26, 2007 - Imagine a miniature United Nations with painted faces, lots of candy, arts and crafts and a haunted house. On Saturday, October 27th, all of these elements will come together when the NYChildren Photography Project celebrates Halloween at Habana Outpost.
The mission of Danny Goldfield's NYChildren Photography Project is to photograph one child from every country on earth; each child must currently live in New York City. To date 151 children have been photographed. The search for the remaining 43 countries continues as the project nears completion. From the beginning of his project, Danny Goldfield always envisioned a party where all of the children could come together in one place to see their photographs and meet each other; he labeled this party the "dream event". However, finding a venue to accommodate a party for more than 100 children and their families is not an easy task... until he met Sean Meenan who is the owner of Habana Outpost and founder of Habana Works Inc. When Sean heard about the "dream event" he knew it was exactly the type of project that Habana Works should be involved with and the planning commenced.
The Halloween Party will take place on Saturday, October 27th from 1-4pm. This event is free and open to the public. There will be games: such as The Spider Toss and Pin the Nose on the Pumpkin. There will also be a Haunted House and a crafts corner. NYChildren and Habana Outpost are very excited about the event and everyone is looking forward to seeing how this eclectic group of children will interact with each other.
