Valerie Percival Inducted into Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Event Planning

Ms. Percival has 37 years of experience as a special events manager of IBM Australia Limited. She prides herself on her creativity, as well as her ability to plan and implement events. In the course of her duties, she is responsible for managing high-end events for corporate executives and incentives throughout Asia Pacific. Ms. Percival attributes her success to her passion and her attention to detail. She became involved in her industry because of her prior professional experiences. One of her proudest accomplishments was recreating Neil Armstrong's moon landing in a lunar module on stage during the 20th anniversary of the actual landing.

Ms. Percival has received diplomas in event management, and she is a founding vice president of the Australian Chapter of the International Special Events Society. In addition, she is a board member of Mice.Net Magazine, a member of the ACCOR Advisory Board, and an ambassador for Special Event Sydney. In recognition of her talent and hard work, she has been presented with various IBM awards. To give back to others, she supports the Australian Red Cross.
