Deborah Neev Named a VIP Member of Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Operations Management

Ms. Neev is an experienced international operations manager for multibillion-dollar consulting firms with an expertise in environmental, engineering, water resources and water quality, transportation, and energy programs. She is equally proficient in federal, commercial and industrial business lines, and has received several political appointments. With three decades of experience in the industry, Ms. Neev has successfully managed $200 million international operations and has spoken and presented on numerous technical panels. She is an advocate for promoting a strong science foundation in K-12 education and especially supportive of women pursuing engineering fields. Having served over ten years as a Laguna Beach County Water District Commissioner, she has become known as a subject matter expert in the field of water conservation and is a strong proponent of ocean desalination.

A graduate of Colorado School of Mines, as a geophysical engineer, she started her career in oil, gas, and geothermal exploration , utilizing what was at that time cutting-edge geophysical engineering techniques and then helped transition the technology into the environmental world using it for the detection of unexploded ordnance and contaminants. In October 2012, she was recruited to Tetra Tech, Inc. as Vice President of California Operations for Renewable Energy. Ms. Neev calls upon her passion for a sustainable earth and background in overseeing the operations of large corporations to work with both private industry and utilities on renewable energy projects in the Southwest United States, building strong teams that facilitate corporate objectives which aids her in furthering both her own success and that of Tetra Tech, Inc.

Passionate and hard working, Ms. Neev has spent most of her career in California, dedicated to furthering environmental preservation and sustainability. In addition to her technical and professional career, she has served the State of California with Governor appointments on both the Pipeline Advisory Board and the Santa Ana Regional Water Quality Control Board and is currently serving her eleventh year as a Water Commissioner for the Laguna Beach County Water District.
