Mr. Zalzal has been in in the industry for more than 20 years, with the bulk of that experience in heavy equipment in construction, forestry and mining. He has held all positions in various companies, including general manager and vice president and has been involved in running and restructuring companies. He is self-taught in different industries and joined Mecfor two years ago, adding aluminum and smelting to his expertise. He has been instrumential in opening countries and companies for Mecfor all over the world, growing rapidly in Europe and the Middle East.

He is skilled at negotiating major projects, and bringing them to closure, and knowledgeable in heavy equipment. His responsibilities are developing countries for the products and services available through Mecfor, knowing demand, and providing results for the aluminum and smelting needs. He is supervising an international sales force and providing professional development and coaching. Mr. Zalzal plans to continue growing sales for the company, coaching his people and developing into other countries.

He attributes his success to his tenacity, as well as never taking no for an answer, and figuring out any answers. He became involved in his profession because he was the director of sales for a manufacturer of heavy equipment, and they needed someone to take over the international scope.

Mr. Zalzal studied in various industries. He is a member of various LinkedIn Groups and has won President's Awards for heavy equipment. He contributes to the Cancer Society and enjoys tennis, skiing and watching Formula One racing.
