Klaus Maier Named a Worldwide Who's Who Executive of the Year for Excellence in Business Administration & Management

    EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA, August 6, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Klaus Maier, President of Bavaria BMW, has been named a Worldwide Who's Who Executive of the Year in Business Administration & Management. While inclusion in Worldwide Who's Who is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Who's Who membership.

Bavaria BMW is an automobile company that offers new and used BMW SAVs and cars as well as service, financing, leasing, and parts and accessories. During his time as CEO, Mr. Maier has expanded the business from 22 to 75 employees. Sales of new and used cars have also increased under his leadership. Mr. Maier has also participated in an expansion project that has doubled the size of the original building at Bavaria.

Mr. Maier has been in the automotive industry for 22 years as the president of Bavaria BMW. His areas of expertise include team building, new business development, strategic negotiations and business planning. As the president and general manager, Mr. Maier handles sales analysis, oversees strategic planning, and manages employee promotions, human capital, budgeting and construction. In addition to his work at Bavaria BMW, Mr. Maier serves as the CEO of Building Technologies 2011 Inc. and corporate advisor to PAVAC Industries Inc.

Attributing his success to his endurance and passion, Mr. Maier became involved in his profession because of his interest in cars. He is especially fond of BMWs, so he decided to pursue a career path that allowed him to work with these brands. Recognized for his business and sales acumen, Mr. Maier has received the Diamond Jubilee Medal and the Distinguished Services Award from Concordia University.

Mr. Maier received a diploma in business administration and management from Grant MacEwan Community College. He is also involved with the West Edmonton Business Association, the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce and the German-Canadian Business and Professional Association. His favorite activities include golfing, skiing and railroad modeling. Outside of the office, Mr. Maier works with the Children's Autism Services of Edmonton at the Maier Centre and various other charitable organizations. In the coming years, he hopes for business growth and expansion, and personal success.
