RENO, NV, August 07, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- EE Technologies (EET) proudly celebrates its employees for all of their efforts to achieve OSHA SHARP status. The On-site Consultation Program's Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) recognizes small business employers who operate an exemplary injury and illness prevention program. This achievement sets EET as a model company for worksite safety and health. Based on receiving SHARP recognition, OSHA has exempted EET from OSHA programmed inspections until May 15, 2015 when the SHARP certification is scheduled for renewal.
Sonny Newman, EET's President shares EET's mission statement, "EE Technologies, Inc. will be relentless in creating successful partnerships with customers, employees, vendors, shareholders and the communities in which we do business." And he adds, "Our employees are critical to our mission and also the group we most want to serve with relentless attention. Keeping them safe and healthy is vital to our mission and to serving our external customers."
EET has developed and maintains exemplary injury and illness prevention programs. These programs focus on protecting employees from any safety or health hazards that may exist. Additionally, our teams work with OSHA to identify and implement best practices. Programs, systems, processes, procedures, and training include safety as a foundation.
Since inception of the company in 2000, EET's culture has been focused on safety for one and for all. Our culture focuses on creating a better work environment, boosting morale, improving communication and encouraging safety at work and outside of work. Employee suggestions are acted upon and they become part of the solution.
Chief Financial Officer Elizabeth Duffrin shares, "We believe our reputation is strong and we strive to be the leader in our industry by providing a safe and healthy workplace for our employees. We hope that our reputation as a safe and great place to work will continue to attract skilled people to our growing team."
This achievement and the work that goes into maintaining a safe workplace benefits our customers by reducing costs. Some areas where EET is able to save money include lower worker compensation insurance premiums, improved worker retention, and reduced time away from work so that operations run smoothly.
Congratulations to all EET employees for serving your customers and earning OSHA's SHARP status!
