TEANECK, NJ, August 22, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Modern-day butler and author Nikolaus Christmann, will be telling tales from The Butler's Dinner Stories on September 15 at King Manor Museum. Hear about Nikolaus' fascinating experiences serving guests that have included royalty, nobility, politicians and more. Arriving in New York nearly 30 years ago, Nikolaus joined a network of butlers, who referred each other business for decades. This butlers "union" introduced him to a great variety of corporate and private environments. The Butler's Dinner Stories is a resource and guide for Hosts and Guests alike. Books will be available for purchase and all proceeds will benefit King Manor Museum.
King Manor Museum is a historic house that serves as a museum to preserve the home and legacy of Rufus King, one of the original signers of the U.S. Constitution and an early anti-slavery leader in this country. This is the only historic house museum in Southeast Queens. Learn about some of the illustrious guests, such as John Quincy Adams, who were entertained at King Manor.

Nikolaus Christmann wrote The Butler's Dinner Stories, based on his more than 25 years of experience as a Butler, Maitre d', and Commis d'etage in Europe and America. After working at the legendary Ritz Hotel in Paris, he arrived in New York and worked for distinguished Hosts and Hostesses as a Butler, serving royalty, nobility, captains of industry, socialites, politicians, and artists in every field. Nikolaus, also known as The Consulting Butler, was a Maitre d' in the executive dining room of Lehman Brothers, and a Butler for a few of New York's biggest firms of the 1980s.
Nikolaus earned his undergraduate degree at York College in Queens, NY and his masters in Education at Manhattan's Hunter College. He taught "Etiquette and Table Manners" at Queens College.
He was born and raised in a small village on Germany's Mosel River and resides in Queens, NY. He currently consults and works for prominent Hosts and Hostesses in New York. His academic training and broad work experience make him a specialist in entertaining guests at home.
