David K.R. Yaffe Inducted into Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Business Administration

    MISSISSAGUA, ONTARIO, CANADA, August 26, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- David Yaffe, Client Business Director II for Johnson Controls Canada LP, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in business administration.

Mr. David K.R. Yaffe began his career in 1979 with Westcoast Energy Inc. He served there, working with several gas processing plants in several positions, holding the plant manager position when he finished, and providing customer services as an account executive would. In 1998, he became director of facilities at the Vancouver Coastal Health, where he was responsible for all facility operations and maintenance of the Vancouver General Hospital, UBC Hospital, GF Strong Rehab, and George Pearson Centre. Having served decades in his professional career, in five years, Mr. Yaffe intends to retire and move into consulting.

In 2006, he moved on to Johnson Controls Canada LP, where he began as customer business director. Johnson Controls Canada LP is a facility management company that relies on Mr. Yaffe's experience to provide quality products, services and solutions to optimize energy and operational efficiencies of buildings. Initially, he was hired to set up the first P3 hospital in British Columbia. Following substantial completion, he took responsibility for FM accounts in Western Canada, while continuing to direct the P3 Hospital project. For the past two years, he has served as customer business director II, which put him as project lead on the Humber River P3 during design and construction for JCI Facility Management. Mr. Yaffe also works closely with the financier and design team, with the objective of ensuring successful operations and maintenance within the concession period.

Mr. Yaffe attributes his success to his ability to diagnose technical problems. He became involved in his profession because of his many years of service in pulp and paper mills. Impressively, Mr. Yaffe has received and conquered his entire career based on experience, streets smarts, and a high school education. During his free-time, when he isn't working tirelessly to achieve more, he enjoys jogging and golfing.
