Azita Haddadi Inducted into Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Cancer Research

    SASKATOON, SASKATCHEWAN, August 27, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Azita Haddadi, Assistant Professor at the University of Saskatchewan, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in cancer research.

With a love of teaching and research, as well as a desire to serve others, Dr. Haddadi pursued the medical field. She attained both a Pharm.D and a Ph.D. in pharmaceuticals, and conducted postdoctoral research with the University of Alberta. Her first foray into the field in a professional capacity was with Quest PharmaTech Inc, where she was a scientist. After remaining in that position for nearly two years, Dr. Haddadi obtained her position with the University of Saskatchewan.

In her capacity as associate professor, Dr. Haddadi utilizes her expertise in researching such topics as chemotherapy, cancer, biology and vaccinations, in order to teach her students. Moreover, she studies and researches regarding cancer cells and treatments, utilizing modern technology and biology. In five years, Dr. Haddadi intends to write grants regarding catheters, cancer and chemotherapy. She also hopes to continue public speaking on the topic of cancer research as well.
