Seoul Metropolitan Government Holds "Seoul Fusion Korean Food Audition"

    SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA, August 28, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Those foreign nationalists who are either overseas or residents in Korea are eligible to take part in the audition. The participants are required to produce the Fusion Korean Food videos of their original recipe, using the ingredients and food from their home countries. The participants should upload their original recipe of Fusion Korean Food onto the global Youtube channel of Seoul. Then leave the link of the video on the message board underneath the audition PR video section. You have 35 days to submit your recipe between 22nd of August and 25th of September.

The final 5 teams will be invited to Seoul for its Seoul Delicacy Tour this November for 4 nights and 5 days. During this tour, the final competition will take place in Seoul in which the grand prize winner will be chosen by the panel of experts. The winning team, who came up with the best recipe, will be rewarded an additional prize. Just like a variety of cultures coexists in Seoul, the main theme of this audition is to come up with a recipe based on various ingredients from the participants' home countries to create an unique Fusion Korean Food. Additionally, the entries' reception page will introduce Seoul's street food and fusion food through the menus of introductory Fusion Korean Food. In the 'Easy and Quick Fusion Recipe' section, sample recipes will be given for those who are not so familiar with Korean food so that they can make their own delicacies.

The winners will be announced on the audition home page in October. They will be given the opportunity to take part in the Seoul Delicacy Tour for 5 days between 5th of November and the 9th of November.
