No 'Mickey Mouse' Job: Lightwater Employee Joins Cultural Program at Disney

    LEEDS, ENGLAND, August 31, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lightwater Valley employee Sarah Metcalfe, 21 is preparing to leave for the job of her dreams next month - working on Disney's Cultural Representative Program, representing British culture in the world showcase area at Walt Disney World, Florida.

Originally from Ripon, Sarah has worked at Lightwater as a seasonal employee for four years, working her way up from attendant to senior ride operator. She has just graduated from a stage management degree at Rose Bruford College, London and will spend 10 months at Walt Disney World before returning to the UK.

Sarah comments:

"This is the opportunity of a lifetime for me. I will be living and breathing the atmosphere at Disney 24 hours a day, living in on site accommodation with young people from all over the world who are taking part in the program. I think my background at Lightwater gives me a really good grounding and I definitely think I'll be back after Disney!"
