And since 2006, when she founded PharmAfrican and the BDA Foundation, she has developed a sharp knowledge of the botanicals sector and its related nutraceutical, cosmetic and biopharmaceutical industries. Her expertise also includes sustainable development, social investment and pharmaceutical research.
Having a passion for what she does, Ms. Robert attributes her success to having a vision and being able to attract good people to her project and remaining persistent in her efforts. Her dream is to prove that profitable businesses can also be socially and environmentally responsible. She is driven by a powerful entrepreneurial spirit, never backing off when confronted by obstacles. Her work has garnered many honors such as the Terre des Femmes Award from Yves Rocher for her involvement in the protection of the environment.
Ms. Robert received a Master of Business Administration from Universite de Montreal's Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) School of Business. During her time off, she enjoys reading, painting, cooking, swimming and spending time with family. In the years to come, Ms. Robert plans to expand her nonprofit organizations so they reach out to many more African countries.
