Marion Nicolau Inducted into Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Interior Design

    MONTREAL, September 16, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marion Nicolau, Owner of Marion Nicolau Design, Luxury Interiors, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in luxury interior projects.

Ms. Nicolau has 14 years of professional experience, with eight years as a Senior Project Manager of Interior Design for Luxury Brands and upper class clients. Her areas of expertise include management, creativity and perfectionism. In the course of her duties, she is responsible for managing a creative team; planning and rollout for events and retail design for luxury brands, hospitality for luxury resorts and yacht clubs, and private interiors using new materials for a greener environment.

Marion Nicolau Design, Luxury Interiors is an interior design company that provides consulting services, interior design and furniture design services. She attributes her success to being a creative thinker and competitive and, above all, having a positive attitude. She became involved in her profession because of her passion for luxury interiors and design. The one experience that stood out the most was working for several years for L'Oreal Ltd. in Shanghai, China, designing furniture with high-tech and multi-module aspects for luxury brands cosmetic counters.

Ms. Nicolau received a Master's Degree in Industrial Design from Strate College, Paris (Sèvres), France in 2000. Between 1996 and 2001 she received several competition prize awards and publications for Luxury Brands' product design such as: perfume bottle design national competition, accessories for Nina Ricci, and an arm chair for Louis Vuitton, among others. In 2012, she received a 1st prize award from Anhui Broadcasting and TV Center in China for the interior design of its grand lobby, VIP rooms, and exhibition hall.

To benefit others, she helps orphans around the world and the Miao community in China. In her spare time, she enjoys writing science fiction novels, scuba diving and sailing. In years to come, Ms. Nicolau intends to pursue a major role in project management within luxury interior design. Her long-term dream is driven by her sailing experience; she would like to design luxury interiors for private owners and special orders for large size sailboats, catamarans, yachts and super yachts.
