Now in her retirement, Ms. Rous is deepening her walk in faith and pursuing a diploma in biblical studies. Having served on missions to Colombia and Nicaragua in the past, she has plans to evangelize within the United States and continue to fulfill her passion for working with abused children.

Ms. Rous received a master's degree in nursing with a family practitioner option. She holds a leadership position in her church and enjoys making personalized items for her family members as a hobby.
