NEW ORLEANS, LA, October 08, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- More than 14,000 visitors and exhibitors from 45 states and 27 countries are expected to attend the 34rd International WorkBoat Show, North America's largest commercial marine trade show and conference, which will be held from October 9-11 in the New Orleans Morial Convention Center
The 2013 Show features over 1,100 exhibitors, the Eighth Annual Shipyard Day that includes a keynote address by Shane Guidry, Chairman and CEO, Harvey Gulf International Marine, the 10 Significant Boats of 2013 Awards Ceremony and the WorkBoat Environmental Awards. Tradeshow Week ranks the WorkBoat Show as one of the Top 200 largest U.S. trade shows.
This event is anticipated to generate almost $13 million in economic impact, according to the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau. The Show is in line to meet last year's record setting number of attendees and exhibitors.
