Worldwide Who's Who Names Robert Cugno, M.Crim., Executive of the Year in Workforce Development

    BANYULE, VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA, October 18, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Robert Cugno, Director Client Relations of Swinburne University of Technology, has been named a Worldwide Who's Who Executive of the Year in Workforce Development. Mr. Cugno has 21 years of professional experience, with four years as the director of client relations of the Swinburne University of Technology. Over the years, he has established himself as an expert in workforce development and training solutions, as well as consultations, client relationship development, and lean business strategies. Mr. Cugno's responsibilities include; leading a team of project managers, contract management, client relationship development and management and implementation of lean business processes within the Industry Solutions Unit

A seasoned professional, Mr. Cugno is nationally recognized as an expert in workforce development, workplace training and training needs analysis, and he has successfully managed the delivery of workforce development projects on a national scale. Mr. Cugno attributes his success to his ability to be a leader and build trusting relationships with the teams he works with. He became involved in his profession because he has a passion for making a difference in his clients' businesses and working with his clients to grow their business.

Mr. Cugno's focus is to ensure that the university's industry clients have a positive "Swinburne experience" by ensuring all programs are delivered on time, within budget, on scope and at the agreed quality level.

Mr. Cugno received a Master's degree in Criminology from La Trobe University, a Graduate Certificate in Competitive Enterprise from Swinburne University, a Graduate Certificate in Leadership (Education leadership) and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in social science from La Trobe University. In order to remain in contact with other industry professionals, he became a member of the CEO Institute, as well as the executive board of the Old Paradians' Association. In years to come, Mr. Cugno aspires to be heading up the training and learning division of an international organization.
