Janette Salmi, Dean of Students, Inducted into Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Educational Administration

Ms. Salmi has 20 years of experience as Dean of Students for Trinity Lutheran College. She is a natural leader, specializing in relationship building, as well as education. On a daily basis, she oversees the direct operations of the school, working on various projects and programs for students as needed. Ms. Salmi attributes her success to her hard work, commitment, honesty, passion and loyalty. She became involved in her profession because she always had a passion for children and education; the industry was a natural fit for her. Ms. Salmi received a master's degree in education from Australian Lutheran College and a Bachelor of Education from Griffith University. In addition to her degrees, she has received a diploma of education from Griffith University. She has completed a leadership development program, and she has studied reality therapy at The William Glasser Institute. She is a member of ACE, ACEL, the Australian Institute of Management, and IIRP. In recognition of her academic excellence, she was presented with an honors award from Australian Lutheran College. In her spare time, she serves as a foster parent through World Vision, and she enjoys reading, walking on the beach, going to the theater, and entertaining friends and family. In years to come, Ms. Salmi intends to take the new restorative practice global and present workshops on it.
