Mrs. De La Forest has 25 years of experience in the travel industry, with three years as the owner and managing director of Sowilo ehf- Travel to Iceland. Throughout her travels, as well as her experience in the industry, she has gained an in-depth knowledge of Iceland, Greenland, and Arctic travel. On a daily basis, she is responsible for overseeing operations and management, as well as proposals, contracts and account management. Sowilo ehf- Travel to Iceland is a travel company that provides travel services with a specialization in Iceland, Greenland and the Arctic. She is also senior project manager, specialized in corporate and luxury travel for HL Adventure. Looking back, Mrs. De La Forest attributes her success to her determination, perseverance and hard work. She became involved in her profession because of her curious nature, which led to a desire to interact with different cultures around the world.

Mrs. De La Forest received a BTS degree in tourism in France. Prior to establishing Sowilo ehf- Travel to Iceland, she was a partner of a travel agency that was based in France. A world-traveler, Mrs. De La Forest has lived and worked in different parts of the world, and she is now based in Iceland and specializes in the Arctic regions.
