Prime Motor Group Donates Vehicle for Beth Israel Deaconess Fundraiser

    BOSTON, MA, December 19, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On November 2nd, 2013 Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital held their annual "Dream Big" Gala at Gillette Stadium to raise money for a brand new state of the art Cancer Center and Surgical Building in the heart of Needham. The new Beth Israel Deaconess Cancer Center & Surgical Pavilion will consolidate BIDMC's west suburban cancer services into a new, state-of-the-art comprehensive center in Needham. The new surgical area will provide the ability for patients to have more advanced surgeries closer to home. The three-story, 30,000-square foot building will be located on the footprint of BID-Needham's former administration building which was ceremoniously demolished last week. This $24-million project represents Phase II of a dedicated plan to improve and expand care available to patients in the western suburbs.

The Great Gatsby themed gala, which attracted over 800 guests, raised over $650,000 for the hospital. For the Dream Big Gala, Prime Motor Group donated a 2 year lease on a brand new 2014 Toyota Corolla or Honda Civic and $10,000 from Porsche of Westwood a Prime Motor Group affiliation.

Co-chair Scott Schuster, who is also a long-time customer of Prime Motor Group, said "Prime Motor Group has always been very involved with charities in the greater Boston area; we are very appreciative to have their support specifically in Needham at Beth Israel Deaconess."

The winner was drawn and Rosy Myer won the brand-new car. She picked up her red 2014 Toyota Corolla on Friday December 7th at Prime Toyota Boston in West Roxbury and was nothing but smiles. Rosy Myer, now retired from Beth Israel after 41 years, lives in Florida and plans to take her new ride there.
