With 24 years of experience in her field, Ms. Coons is known for her expertise in executive production, creative direction and writing. On a daily basis, she is tasked with overseeing operations, marketing and sales, interacting with key clients and handling proposals and budgets. Prior to being the president of Nalu Creative, LLC., Ms. Coons held a high level position in her field. From 1995 until 2005 she managed the new business development for Extraordinary Events (EE) as executive vice president of sales and marketing. At EE she honed her production skills, learned to love the live show and built lasting relationships with vendors and clients alike. She created events large and small from Gala dinners to new product launches and even managed the Olympic Torch Relay from Mexico City to Montreal in partnership with GPJ/Samsung. In addition, she produced multiple headline acts, such as Sheryl Crow, Peter Frampton, Don Henley, Stevie Wonder, Santana, The B-52's, Jonny Lange, Chicago, The Doobie Brothers, and Jay Leno. Her client list included, Carlson Marketing Group, DaimlerChrysler, Dell, GPJ, Porsche, Interval International, BB&T and Mattel.

A success story in her field, Ms. Coons has received numerous awards, serves on key industry associations, advises influential publications and has been a spokesperson at major events. Among her many accolades, she was named the Event Planner of the Year 2004 by Event Solutions Magazine, awarded 2 WOW! Awards in 2003 by her peers in the industry associations MPI, HSMAI, NACE & ISES and received the EX Award for the Siebel/George P Johnson event in 2003 for Best Single Venue B2B Event.

She became involved in her profession through the influence of her family as her husband and mother owned a company that provided these services.
