Former Director of Community Investment for E*TRADE Financial Joins HarveyFoster Impact Capital Group

Mr. James will be responsible for economic development strategy and compliance optimization based on the regulatory requirements of the firm's clients.

As Director of Community Investment at E*TRADE Financial, Mr. James created strategy and directed activities towards bank compliance and risk management with Community Reinvestment, Home Mortgage Disclosure, Community Support and Fair Lending regulatory requirements. Mr. James led examinations in his areas of responsibility with federal regulators, government agencies and internal auditors, each meeting or exceeding compliance standards. Mr. James also facilitated Community Reinvestment Act (CRA)-qualified activities receiving favorable regulator consideration.

With over 20 years of experience in compliance strategy for the financial services sector, Mr. James looks forward to continuing this work with HarveyFoster.
