ATLANTA, GA, January 31, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- When Voiceover City (VOC) President and Founder, Gerald Griffith set out to create a platform for voiceover professionals, he had no idea what a major impact it would have on the niche' industry. Now, as he and his team prepare for the 2nd Annual VO Atlanta Conference, the largest voiceover conference in the southeast, he is proud to be providing information and services to professionals from all over the country. Griffith's company, VOC, along with several major sponsors which include, Edge Studio, ACX (an Amazon platform), Voices.com, and Sennheiser USA, are putting together the major, 4 day, industry event which will include direct access to educational resources, voiceover professionals and agents; along with coaches and trainers with industry tips and insights for professional advancement.

This year's conference keynote is award winning, Looney Tunes voice actor, Bob Bergen. Over the years Bergen has voiced Porky, Tweety, Marvin the Martian, Henry Hawk, Sylvester Jr., and Speedy Gonzales in a variety of feature films, albums, toys, games, and television series', including the 2 time Emmy nominated series, Duck Dodgers, in which Bergen received an Annie Award nomination as best voice performer in a television series. Bergen is just one of the accomplished speakers presenting. The impressive line-up is to include presenters from all over the country that have worked in every aspect of the voiceover industry.
Of its many special features, VO Atlanta 2014 is proud to be the only voiceover conference to offer a program specifically designed for youth! Youth attendees will enjoy time with well established coaches and professionals, skills for voice mastery and so much more. Youth VO will be headed up by Emmy winning casting director, Stevie Vallance, who received a 2002 Emmy Award for casting and voice directing the dialogue on over 70 episodes of MADELINE, for which she also portrayed the voices of both "Miss Clavel" the nun, and "Genevive" the dog. Vallance brings a national level of expertise to VO Atlanta 2014; giving youth a front row opportunity to what is required to succeed in the industry.
The 2014 conference include a scholarship award towards attendance at the conference, live panel discussions, and a voiceover contest. To foster networking and community, lunch is included during the event. Last year's event attracted attendees from 27 different states, and Bermuda.
