Pardee Homes' Canyon Hills Makes List of 50 Top Selling Master Planned Communities in the United States

    LAKE ELSINORE, CA, February 02, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- One Riverside County master-planned development was ranked among the Top 50 Best Selling Master-Planned Communities in the country in 2013, according to the annual report by John Burns Real Estate Consulting.

Canyon Hills in Lake Elsinore was the 26th best-selling community in the U.S. with 234 home sold, a 28.6% increase from 2012. Ranked 47th last year, the move up for Canyon Hills was an increase of 21 spots, the largest increase among California master-planned communities. A 38% increase was the largest year-over-year increase specifically in California for master plans also selling in 2012.

A total of seven master-planned communities in California were on the list, with The Irvine Ranch in Orange County at number two nationwide. Retirement community The Villages in Central Florida ranked number one with 3,419 sales. It was also number one in 2012. This is the fourth year that John Burns Real Estate has compiled this list.
