Michele C. Linde has been Named a Worldwide Branding Executive of the Year for Excellence in Legal Consulting

    STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN, February 13, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sapphire Solutions AB Chief Executive Officer and General Counsel Michele C. Linde has been named a Worldwide Branding Executive of the Year in Legal Consulting. While inclusion in Worldwide Branding is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Branding membership.

With two and a half decades of practiced experience in her field, Ms. Linde is uniquely qualified to oversee a wide range of tasks on behalf of Sapphire Solutions AB, a legal consultancy firm that provides corporate legal and executive management solutions. Just one short year ago, she began in her capacity as Chief Executive Officer and is also the General Counsel of both Akloma Biosciences AB and HATT et SÖNER, an exclusive Swedish Champagne Company. During the course of her daily routine, she reports directly to the CEO and the Board of Directors and handles all legal, regulatory and governance matters. In addition, she retains and manages external counsel, and develops policies and procedures.

Prior to joining Sapphire Solutions, Ms. Linde worked in the pharmaceutical industry for more than 20 years. She was the Vice President of the legal department of a branded and generic pharmaceuticals and medical device company. She excels in her field due to a unique blend of her prior experiences and her educational background, which includes a JD with a concentration in international law and transactions from Pennsylvania State University.

A shining example of excellence in her field, Ms. Linde was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding and also maintains affiliation with the American and International Bar Associations. Throughout the course of her impressive career, she has garnered a variety of awards, including the Rising Star Award through the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association in 2009 for outstanding leadership. Despite her busy schedule, Ms. Linde and her U.S. business partner are also regular contributors to Maria Shriver's blog, Architects for Change. She is currently working on a business book with her U.S. business partner as well. She has already become a published writer this past April, after co-authoring a book with her 19-year-old son titled, "The String Horse." The book is a journey into a young boy's life that forever changed him from fearful and timid into a confident and courageous teenager.
