San Lorenzo to Unveil Two of Its Newest Superyacht Model in Genoa and Cannes

    LONDON, ENGLAND, August 07, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Two of San Lorenzo's new yachts will make its debut on two of the largest yacht shows to date. I am talking about the Cannes international boat show and the Genoa international boat show. These boat shows are scheduled on September 9-14 and October 1-6 respectively with a whole bunch of boat brokers present as well as different ferretti yachts and many other luxury motor boat brands.

The San Lorenzo SD112, a vessel that takes up to 33.6 meters in length has been one of the newest superyacht designs for the yacht builder. Some of its parts are made out of fiberglass and are considered to be very sturdy in trends of overall quality and lightweight design. The lightweight build and the top of the line materials used in building the yacht has boosted its performance and increased the maximum speed while using less fuel further improving its overall efficiency. Even though the model is practically new, there had been already 6 units that had been sold to date and three more are nearing the end of the production line.

The San Lorenzo SD112 has a size that is similar to its siblings, 38m and 28m yachts respectively. The SD112 has spent over two years from concept to reality. The San Lorenzo SD112 maintains their signature feature which includes the curved doors seen on its predecessors. Other features include a foldable terrace as an open out door that goes directly to the cockpit. The usual sundeck is also present in the model with the addition of a fairly large Jacuzzi. The vessel has a total of 4 cabins for the guests and the ship needs a total of 7 crews to operate.

Another San Lorenzo yacht which is the SL118 is a 36m yacht that is considered to be the new flagship of the SL series offering a wide and composite hull build for maximizing space and to offer more facilities than usual. Most of the design features on the SL118 are also seen on its predecessors such as the SL104. The vessel offers accessibility of the lower deck offers on different cabins and the cabins are also sound proof. Curtains can also be lowered if the guests need some privacy.

The lighting system of the SL118 has a sleek design which gets invisible during the day as it is hidden in between the canvas of the roof. The boat has an overall design that includes sanded wood as well as light colors on walls and resin floors. The fiberglass material used in the exterior of the vessel allows it to develop a lightweight feel as well as an overall increase in performance.

Two of the SL118 are still in the production line with the first hull finished all in time for its launch at the Cannes and Genoa international boat show.
