Jim Pridham Has Been Named a Professional of the Year in Composite Structure Design

    SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, September 12, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jim Pridham, Senior Design Consultant for Gebel Products Pty Ltd, has been named a Worldwide Branding Professional of the Year in Composite Structure Design. While inclusion in Worldwide Branding is an honor, only small selections of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Branding membership.

Exposed to the industry early on by his father, who was a civil and water engineer, Mr. Pridham was primed for a career in water treatment. In 1972, the father-son team established a company that fabricated FRP composites for the water treatment and process industries. They also introduced FRP filter vessel manufacturing, high-tech water treatment and innovative pumping and storage systems to the country.

For the past three decades, Mr. Pridham has served as a senior design consultant for Gebel Products Pty Ltd, where he works on projects surrounding sewage pumping stations, emergency water storage systems and rainwater harvesting systems. His passion for helping the environment translates through his work at Gebel, where he pays close attention to the sustainability and efficiency of his products.

With a diploma in composites structures from Sydney Technical Institute, Mr. Pridham gained the skills necessary to succeed in his industry. He also attributes his success to passion, hard work and the early teachings of his father. Mr. Pridham plans to continue his role as senior design consultant, through which he aspires to keep innovating water treatment technologies and mentoring the coming generation in the field.
