A.R. "Chip" Mander, III earned Board Certification in Criminal Trial Law back in 1990, an honor reserved for less than one percent of Florida attorneys.
DADE CITY, FL, October 08, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A.R. "Chip" Mander, III, Attorney with Mander Law Group, has continually been recognized for showing dedication, integrity and excellence in criminal defense, personal injury and medical malpractice litigation.
As the senior jury trial lawyer of the firm, Mr. Mander leads the team of six attorneys and over fifteen investigators, paralegals, computer experts, researchers, claims coordinators and legal staff. In his 37 years of practice, he has tried more than 300 jury trials, including 18 murder trials. Mr. Mander earned Board Certification in Criminal Trial Law back in 1990, an honor reserved for less than one percent of Florida attorneys.
Mr. Mander pursued a career as a lawyer because of his hatred of injustice and that passion has kept him immersed in the field for four decades. After earning a Juris Doctorate at Stetson University in 1977, Mr. Mander initially served as a prosecutor with the Pasco-Pinellas State Attorney's Office in the Sixth Judicial Circuit, where he prosecuted more than 100 jury trials in his first two years as a lawyer.
In 1979 he went into private practice with a firm which is now known as Mander Law Group. The firm which has grown to include more than twenty employees including Spanish speakers, has a combined total of attorney legal experience exceeding 145 years. The firm seeks to be a full service law firm and handles a diverse area of cases including personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, family law, business law, real estate, wills, estates, probate, foreclosures, homeowner's associations, criminal defense, DUI's and domestic injunctions.
Recently inducted into Worldwide Registry, Mr. Mander is also a life member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Florida Justice Association. He has also been a certified Florida Circuit Court Mediator since 1991, and is a former president of the Pasco County Bar Association. Mr. Mander served a full term on the Judicial Nominating Committee for the Sixth Judicial Circuit. Mr. Mander was a founding member of Arts In Motion, a nonprofit youth theater and arts education organization and he coached many years of youth baseball, softball and some soccer.
Mr. Mander recently celebrated 25 years of an AV Preeminent Attorney, having originally received the rating in 1989. In recognition of his success in the courtroom and ability to resolve cases favorably prior to trial, Mr. Mander was selected in the Florida Super Lawyer magazine in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. He was asked to join the organization of Top 100 Trial Lawyers by National Trial Lawyers in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
