Sonoma County Farm Trails Announces First Annual "Farm-to-Fork" Fall Feast with Chef Duskie Estes on November 8

Fundraiser features nationally acclaimed cellist Zoe Keating, organic food, and local farmers



    SANTA ROSA, CA, October 27, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Farm Trails, the non-profit group formed to cultivate community among local farmers and with consumers, will hold its first ever Farm-to-Fork Fall Feast on Saturday, November 8, at Atwood Ranch in Glen Ellen.

The evening features live music at a VIP reception by with internationally acclaimed cellist/composer Zoe Keating, an organic feast prepared from locally sourced organic ingredients by Chef Duskie Estes (star of Food Network's Next Iron Chef, and proprietor of Zazu Restaurant and Farm), a live auction, music and dancing.

The evening fundraiser begins at the 4 PM VIP reception with a performance by Zoe Keating and a tasting with local artisan cheese and cider makers. It is followed by "Sonoma County Libations and Meet Your Farmer Crostini Bar" at 5 PM featuring local farmers. Dinner and live auction at begin at 6 PM. The festivities conclude with dancing to music by the Easy Leaves Duo.

Tickets for the event are $150 per person. VIP tickets are $225 and a VIP table for eight is $2,000.VIP tables include the VIP reception, dinner, reserve wines, premium seating and valet parking. With its mission to help ensure the preservation of Sonoma County's rich agricultural heritage, Farm Trails (www.farmtrails.org) was established in 1973 by local Sonoma County farmers to create community among food producers and establish a stronger connection between farmers and the public. The group's signature event is the annual Gravenstein Apple Fair, celebrating the heirloom apple and Sonoma County's rural traditions.
