PGA Professional Bobby West Leads Stonebridge Golf Club to Success

    MONROE, NC, November 08, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bobby West, Stonebridge Golf Club's Vice President of Operations, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in providing hospitality services on a course that recently received a Four Star Rating from Golf Digest as a "Best Place to Play" and was ranked in the Top 100 Courses in the Carolinas.

Bobby West has loved the game of golf since childhood and has been a Class A member of the PGA since 1967. In January 1972, Mr. West was hired by Walt Disney World to serve as Director of Golf of the entertainment mecca's three courses. He remained with Disney until 1980. His next foray into the world of tee times had him working for the Cobblestone Golf Group, which owns and operates 45 facilities in major golf markets in Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Texas and Virginia. Hired as Vice President of Operations for Stonebridge Golf Club in 2006, Mr. West brings his expertise to bear when it comes to providing superb conditions and the highest level of customer service. He is known in the industry for his exceptional golf course management skills.

Mr. West earned a Bachelor of Arts from Elon University. In the coming years, he intends to expand his network of golf clubs to six.
